SISTRAN
Argentina certified ISO 9001:2008:
With the commitment of keeping improving every year, Sistran certified
ISO 9001 in order to provide the best service to more than thirty insurance
companies in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
Last March, Sistran obtained ISO 9001:2008 quality certification for
all of its internal processes of Argentina Business Unit. The main objective
of the certification is to achieve continuous improvement and customer
satisfaction, providing more and better answers. As a software products
and services provider, this implies a benefit for over thirty insurance
companies that Sistran serves in the Southern Cone.
The scope of this project reaches the entire Argentina Business Unit,
including Business Proposals, Project Implementation and Customer Accounts:
Work Orders and Maintenance (WO and AMC), with their support processes.
ISO is based on eight quality principles, two them are customer satisfaction
and continuous improvement.
ISO 9001 is an International Standard that is applied to Quality Management
Systems (QMS), focused on all the quality management elements that the
company needs in order to have an effective system that allows managing
and improving the quality of the products and services.
Customers of a certified company are assured that the provider has a
good organizational management system. This accreditation demonstrates
that Sistran has worldwide recognition.
A long continuous improvement process:
ISO certification is a result of a work started in 2007 promoting continuous
improvement in our processes and procedures, methodology, customer care
and products and services quality.
Our work, focused on improving, starts with the definition of KPI (Key
Performance Indicators), generating measurements and statistics of AM
(Accounts Management). These indicators enable managers to take corrective
actions. In 2009, the staff was trained in Sistran´s (MS1) process
methodology.
Through the PIM project (Process Improvement & Maintenance) improvements
were included over the methodology, concluding in a new version of project
implementation methodology, SPF (Sistran Process Framework), aligned to
the Maturity Model capabilities - CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration).
CMMI is a quality model that classifies software companies in maturity
levels. It is a model for the improvement and evaluation of development,
maintenance and operation processes of software systems. Currently there
are three areas of interest covered by CMMI models: Development, Acquisition
and Services.
Thanks to this long journey in the search of quality we can formalize
that we began 2011 with a new certification. This achievement encourages
us to continue improving.
